Dr. Lajos (Lou) P. Balogh, Ph.D., (baloghl@aananomedicine.com) is the owner and Chief Scientific Advisor of AA Nanomedicine & Nanotechnology (AANMNT), a consulting firm registered in Essex County, Massachusetts, USA. Prof. Balogh also serves as the Executive Editor of Manuscript Clinic (www.manuscriptclinic.us), which supports scientists and students to successfully publish their research results in the field of Nanomedicine and Nanotechnology. Lou was Editor-in-Chief of the Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine journal for 7 years.
Dr. Balogh held faculty positions at Kossuth University Debrecen, H, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, MA, the Michigan Molecular Institute, Midland, MI, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, the Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), Buffalo, NY, and at Northeastern University, Boston, MA.
He has published 219 scientific papers, gave >220 invited lectures, and is awarded 12 patents. Lou has 14 papers with more than 100 citations, and 6 with more than 200 citations. Lou is one of the five Founders of the American Society for Nanomedicine, and board member of a number of international scientific organizations.
