报告摘要：

This seminar introduces a number of research activities presently being conducted at the Robotics and Games (R&G) Laboratory, Griffith University in Australia. In e-health, the Alive ECG monitor was developed based on the concept of Ubiquitous Technology. This device includes an ECG monitor, a 3-axis accelerometer and a GPS(external) and provides the doctor with the information about the patient's location, heart rate, ECG signals and movement or posture.An abnormality detection system was studied based on the relationship between heart rates and physical movement.

报告人简历：

Dr. Jo obtained his PhD.Architecture degree in 1994 from at the University of Sydney. Dr Jo has held the position of Program Director for the Bachelor of Multimedia, since 1996 and is a co-director of Internationalisation at the School of Information and Communication Technology, Griffith University. Dr Jo is currently the Director of Robotics and Games Laboratory and the President of Australia Robotic Organising Committee.
